  • Minute Media recently made its fourth acquisition in 18 months after bringing Meredith-owned FanSided into its stable of titles.
  • DRPG has acquired Firehouse to diversify its client base.
  • Major Players has acquired the business of Gemini People.

EMEA wins

Thatchers has selected McCann Bristol as its strategic and creative partner with a remit to further build the brand as the Somerset company continues to reach new audiences with its innovative range.

Homebase has appointed Mapp as the UK retail brand seeks to realign its marketing efforts amid company-wide restructuring.

England Rugby has pledged to further nourish grassroots talent after agreeing to a multi-year partnership with Red Bull which will see it become an official energy drink partner for the game.

Pernod Ricard-owned Lillet has appointed McCann to deliver a new positioning and global campaign platform for the brand.

Atomic London has further extended its relationship with Abellio by winning the creative account for East Midlands Railway.

Transport2 has appointed PR Agency One to launch its new home-to-school transport brand, Kura.

Liz Lean PR has secured the PR accounts of Rund Partnership, Dorset Polo Club and Daish's Holidays.

The PHA Group has been appointed by MyTenNights to help drive awareness by managing its communications strategy.

APAC wins

Nobel Hygiene has handed its PR mandate to Nucleus PR and its creative account to The Womb.

L&K Saatchi & Saatchi has won the creative mandate of Bombay Shaving Company.

Americas wins

The United Nations Development Program for Latin America and the Caribbean has appointed Brandwidth as its innovation partner of record.

Babbel has brought on Interesting Development to focus on a mix of brand strategy, website redesign and advertising, with plans to launch a campaign later in the year.

Pabst Brewing Company has appointed MDC Partners' Assembley as its media agency of record.

Ameriprise Financial has selected San Francisco-based FCB West as its creative agency of record after a competitive review.

FCB Brasil has won the Heineken non-alcoholic beverages account. FCB will be responsible for the entire communication of the brands Itubaína, Viva Schin and Fys.

The Hershey Company has slimmed down its agency roster to just Droga5 and McGarrybowen leading creative, dealing a blow to Anomaly.

Gymshark has selected Radial’s e-commerce fulfillment and transportation solutions to handle order fulfillment for US and Canadian customers.

Royal Bank of Scotland has confirmed it is to change its name to NatWest Group later this year as the financial institution seeks to bury a toxic history associated with the once well-regarded brand.
