De la Fosse will lead the jury as chair and is looking for entrants to bring their A-game. If you have something to prove to the rest of the industry, show them the exciting work that is happening all across the UK, not just in London.

The Roses Awards strive to find the hidden gems in advertising, design and digital by celebrating exceptional creative talent providing a platform to shine outside of London. Big or small, old or new, anyone can enter as long as their office is based outside of the M25.

De la Fosse has been an advertising creative for nearly 20 years, starting out as a junior copywriter at a small start-up agency above a curry house. Her most recent role is the UK CCO at Digitas, responsible for the agency’s overall creative output and point of view on the world.

Along the way, she has worked for famous brands like British Airways, IBM and Kimberley Clark. As well as picking up Golds and Grand Prix at every major creative award show and named The Drum’s first-ever Creative Women of the year in 2016.

Her experience spans direct marketing, brand advertising, digital communications and technology - a rare mix of skills. She’s passionate about innovation, behavioural science, strategic planning and the power of the team.

On why she is chairing these awards, de la Fosse said: "Advertising tends to be very London-centric. Typically those agencies in the regions don’t get their fair share of the limelight. The Drum Roses gives agencies outside of the M25 bubble a chance to show the UK that creative talent isn’t about geography.

"I look for ideas that move a brand on or move people on. That could be the target audience or the world by the way. That’s part of our job and our skill – to take tricky briefs and marketing challenges and look for fresh, original ways to solve the problem. The best creative work is the love child of insight and a lateral leap."

The Roses Awards 2020 are now open for entry. Make sure you submit your entry before February 20, 2020.
