Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has tapped Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan to promote the launch of the S1 Pro in India.

The campaign, created by BBH India, stars actor and singer Prit Kamani along with brand ambassador Khan to showcase S1 Pro’s design with its camera.

The celebrities are set against a futuristic backdrop, where they skate around on skateboards while using various functions of the phone.

“We are pleased with our partnership with BBH, who have been able to showcase the product USPs effectively through this creative campaign,” said Nipun Marya, the director of brand strategy at Vivo India.

“The S1Pro, our second edition to the style focussed S-series, offers industry leading camera features with trendsetting looks that come out alive with Sara as the face of the product. Just like our previous campaign, we are confident that this campaign too will connect with our audience well.”

According to Statista, Vivo holds the four largest share of the smartphone market in India in the first quarter of 2019.

The campaign will consist of 4 teasers films and a TVC cum digital film.
