Who Wot Why add strength and depth with new strategic partner

The highly-experienced and sort-after strategist Joanna Dann is joining Who Wot Why as strategy partner. The creatively led independent agency is looking to in-crease its comms, media, design and digital strategic power. WWW has big plans to expand its remit for advertising and beyond and Jo’s multi-skilled disciplines in strategy is set to help drive the agency forward.

Jo’s experience encompasses strategy partner, head of planning and planning director in disciplines and agencies as diverse as LIDA, M&C Saatchi, Wunderman, Proximity and Digitas.

Jo Dann said, “I am delighted to be joining the team at Who Wot Why, they’ve been quietly building an amazing reputation and I’m keen to help them stretch their strategic capability”.

Sean Thompson, Who Wot Why’s creative founder, said, “We hit it off with Jo straight away - she has loads of strategic rigour and a tonne of rule-breaking hutzpah. She’s bloody brilliant”. Who Wot Why is in its third year.

Founded by Matt Gooden, Sean Thompson, Ben Walker, Jo joins the WWW management team which includes Charles Faircloth and Marissa Jennings. WWW’s recent work includes Spotify’s, “Listen like you used to” campaign. Getting generation X back into music by listening to The Clash’s “London Calling” rather than “Conference calling” and playing the “Smashing Pumpkins” instead of “Smashing avocados”.
