Dave Fitzgerald takes back control of Fitzgerald & Co

Founded over 35 years ago, Fitzco has established itself as a regional player in advertising and marketing communication and has been under the ownership of the Interpublic Group of Companies since 1998.

Fitzgerald said: “I’m very excited to again take the reins of the agency. When I stepped into the chairman role in 2015, I was ready to focus on other projects in Atlanta, but the honest truth was that I missed being with the clients and the day-to day business. The partnership with IPG and McCann has been terrific but the market has changed as have our clients’ needs, and we now feel we would better serve the opportunities ahead of us independently.

“Given the high calibre of talent in place at Fitzco, we plan to take advantage of the growth opportunities in the industry by focusing on flexible and agile solutions that meet today’s marketing demands.”

Now back under the direction of Fitzgerald Fitzco will remain part of the IPG network as an affiliate business partner.
