European bank Bunq launches new campaign created by The Brave New Now

European challenger bank Bunq today launches an international commercial for Bunq Green Card. In collaboration with Amsterdam advertising agency The Brave New Now, Bunq will air this campaign promoting the new metal card on primetime national television in the Netherlands, Germany and France.

Additionally, a Bunq Green Card covered tram will run in Amsterdam and Berlin. “You spend. Forests Grow. Everyone’s a winner”: using this tagline bunq outlines the benefits of the bunq Green Card, a metal card that plants a tree for every €100 spent.

Planting trees is one of the easiest ways to positively affect the environment. A tree produces clean air, reduces carbon, and provides shelter to wildlife. This new campaign shows how this card, engineered from stainless steel to last 50% longer, contributes to a greener world. The commercial is created by Amsterdam advertising agency The Brave New Now, a creative company born to create change.

The main stars of the campaign are animals who are happily enjoying the trees in their forests in a variety of ways. In this very simple, yet effective way, the campaign aims to shed light on how important the world’s forests are for ensuring a happy future for animals, birds and people, alike.

The creative follows an unconventional approach to communicate the serious topic of the environment, using a lightness of touch and positive tonality to engage viewers and inspire everyone to spend in a greener way, via the Green Card.

The metal card, engineered from stainless steel, lasts 50% longer than a plastic card and enables enables consumers to build a greener world without any effort. bunq, through a partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, builds a greener planet by planting a tree for every €100 spent with the Bunq Green Card.

Bunq, currently active in 30 European markets, is seen as part of the four biggest European challengers, together with N26, Revolut, and Monzo. It is the first challenger bank to introduce a sustainable metal card
