Havas ramps up experiential offerings in India after acquiring Shobiz
Havas has announced it has acquired India-based agency Shobiz to expand its experiential marketing capabilities in the country.
Havas can target the growing events market in India with Shobiz.
According to the French ad giant, Shobiz will allow it to offer clients an integrated service spectrum from concept to commissioning and final reporting.
This will include strategic planning, communication and content design, creative, graphic and architectural design, audience acquisition, production and logistics.
Together with digital and service agencies Think Design and Langoor, which Havas previously acquired in India, Havas can target the growing events market in India with its services.
“Experiential marketing is a critical component of an integrated approach to brand building as consumers are demanding personalized and meaningful interactions across all touchpoints,” said Vishnu Mohan, the chairman and chief executive officer of Havas Group India & South East Asia.
“The acquisition of Shobiz will further strengthen the breadth of our multi-disciplinary Village model of working and bring on board a different kind of creative skills set. Shobiz’s transformation from a leading production house to be one of the country’s leading experiential communications agency is impressive and I am delighted to welcome Sameer and his entire team to the Havas family.”
