Facebook nabs Sylvester Stallone and Chris Rock for first Super Bowl ad
Facebook is setting its sights on the Super Bowl for the first time ever, and it’s bringing along two heavy hitters in Sylvester Stallone and Chris Rock.

The social media giant announced that it is promoting its ‘More Together’ campaign, showcasing how people from different backgrounds can come together over shared interests and experiences through Facebook Groups.
Stallone has been teasing about his Super Bowl debut on social media with a shoot at the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum next to the Rocky statue where Rocky had his triumphant moment.
Stallone even tweeted: “It was fantastic working with @chrisrock. We got along great. Admire his wit... @Facebook did a great job producing, and it is going to be amazingly entertaining at #SuperBowlLIV.”
The theme looks to have something to do with Stallone (Rocky) and Rock’s sharing of the term ‘rock’ as Facebook stated that the spot “drives home the message that for whatever you rock, there is a Facebook group for you”. Rock will make a cameo alongside Stallone in the spot.
Facebook has been pushing its Groups feature with an ongoing campaign since May.
