Daniella Vitale confirmed as new Tiffany & Co. VP of brand

Luxury jeweller Tiffany & Co is understood to be on the cusp of a new marketing era with the reported arrival of Daniella Vitale as its executive vice president-chief brand officer from 1 December.


Daniella Vitale confirmed as new Tiffany CMO

A former CEO of bankrupt department store Barney’s, Vitale will assume responsibility for ‘overseeing and guiding global strategic initiatives’ for both global merchandising and marketing.

Vitale exited her previous employer on 1 November following its purchase by Authentic Brands Group for $271.4m, profusely apologising to colleagues with the message: “I truly apologize for the difficulties we caused, but please know we did everything we could to avoid this situation and protect the Barneys brand.”

Barney’s is now in process of selling off the majority of its stores and has brokered a licensing deal with Saks Fifth Avenue.
