John Donnelly to bolster The Marketing Centre leadership team

Working alongside regional team lead Mark Gorman, Donnelly will work alongside 85 fellow part-time marketing directors working throughout nine British regions.

As pioneers of the part-time service concept, The Marketing Centre seeks to command the middle ground of SME’s which wish to invest in marketing but lack the resources to finance a full-time post.

On Donnelly's appointment, Gorman commented: “As a team, we are expanding rapidly, and we are looking forward to working with more businesses in the region to help build growth and profitability for their shareholders.”

Adding to this, Donnelly said: “I add real value to the overall business objectives and performance. With a strong commercial background linked to the positive impact of marketing, this optimum blend has proven to be successful, positively impacting the bottom line, the essence of my approach, fueling business growth. I’m thrilled to be joining such a great team of marketing directors to be able to share my skills and knowledge with local businesses.”

Donnelly has previously served as chief exec of Marketing Edinburgh in addition to marketing and commercial director for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
