Pan-European social creative agency and content studio, Hey Honey, has hired William Reed as its first creative director to work across the agency’s growing roster of clients.

Reed will be based at Hey Honey’s headquarters in Amsterdam, and will oversee the creative output of the agency's existing client base, whilst also supporting the agency’s ambitious growth plans across Europe.

Reed said: “I’m looking forward to growing the agency to cut through the sea of brand bullshit. Hey Honey is a young, vibrant team with it’s finger on the pulse of culture – which is now more important than ever to drive impactful creative for brands.”

Reed is an award-winning creative director who has led multidisciplinary teams and has experience across the lifestyle and fashion sectors, having worked across brands like YOOX Net-A-Porter, Coach, Chelsea FC, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Pirelli, Bang & Olufsen, citizenM Hotels, Hennessy and Moët & Chandon among others.

Chris Adams, CEO and founder of Hey Honey, said: “Will has a ton of strategic brand experience that will take our European creative to a new level. Hey Honey is not a typical social agency, we combine creative with our social-first approach so brands can engage with audiences beyond a tap or like.

“Social media is not just a platform or a media buy for brands anymore, it’s a behaviour that is so reflective of culture today. It was a natural next step to hire a creative lead to help Hey Honey evangelise this mantra,” Adams continued.
