McDonald’s Canada has unveiled a multimedia partnership with the Toronto Raptors which brings together the basketball team and the Big Mac.

Building on a year-long partnership with the team the double-act is built around coach Nick Nurse, relating how the team achieved championship success just as the Big Mac has become tastier than ever before.

The resulting collision of worlds sees Nurse descend on a local McDonald’s franchise to coach staff in team-building and improve McDonald’s signature burger, installing it at the top of the restaurant table.

McDonald’s is currently undergoing a leadership transition of its own as new CEO Chris Kempczinski makes his mark.
