Leeds-based digital marketing agency Pedro - which is part of the Elementary Digital Group - is the latest member to join the Government’s Northern Powerhouse Partnership Programme.
The Northern Powerhouse was created to grow the North by investing in culture, transport, innovation and skills.
Pedro was set up in 2013, helping businesses maximise their potential online through SEO, paid search, conversion rate optimisation, user experience testing, content strategy, social media optimisation and digital PR.
Gyles Seward, managing director of Pedro and the Elementary Group said: “We are delighted to support the ongoing development of the North and we hope Pedro can help to make a change for the better and inspire people to invest and work in the North.

Pedro is looking to conect young people with internships and apprenticeships to build their skills and career prospects.

Their work in helping businesses maximise their online potential and compete in the digital economy supports our vision for a global Northern Powerhouse ready to embrace all of the opportunities that come with our departure from the EU on 31 October.
“Investing in young people through apprenticeships and training so they can find high-skilled and well-paid jobs is also key to creating a prosperous Northern Powerhouse. I look forward to working with Pedro as they continue to promote the internships, apprenticeships and technical training available for young people not just in Yorkshire but across the Northern Powerhouse.”
