Global wins
Britbox, the UK content streaming service that will bring shows like Gavin and Stacey and Broadchurch to US audiences, has announced the agency lineup that will help build-up the service internationally. Total Media will handle its media strategy, ITV Creative will handle UK branding and the launch campaign, and Taylor Herring will run the PR. OTT specialist Deltatre will handle product design and further build the app.
EMEA wins
Havas Media Group has been appointed as the media agency for Hyundai and Kia.
The Greater London Authority (GLA) has appointed MSQ Partners as the lead communications agency for London Power, the capital’s new, fair-priced, green energy company created in partnership between the Mayor of London and Octopus Energy.
Ascot Racecourse has taken independent ad agency Isobel as its lead creative agency ahead of the new Royal Ascot campaign.
Initials, the independent creative agency, has been appointed by Britvic following a competitive pitch. The agency will be working across Britvic’s emerging brands portfolio, including Purdey’s, Lipton, Aqua Libra, Arto Lifewtr, 7Up and Mountain Dew.
Mostly Media has been appointed by Middletons Mobility to handle its media planning and buying.
APAC wins
Adjust, the industry leader in mobile measurement, fraud prevention and cybersecurity, has announced its acquisition of Force Operation X (F.O.X) from leading Japanese marketing agency CyberZ.
Americas wins
Motion, a top Chicago integrated marketing agency, has announced the acquisition of Remedy, a consultancy focused on health, wellness and social change.
Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one of the world’s leading management consulting firms, announced today that it has acquired AllofUs, a leading design consultancy based in London.
Reviews
The Walt Disney Company has split the majority of its account between Omnicom and Publicis Groupe following a global media review that began in May.
Precedent, once a powerhouse international digital agency that worked with the likes of the BBC and MTV in its prime, has been liquidated.
Launches
Motive, a fast-growing creative collective is continuing its expansion plans by adding a significant presence in Los Angeles. The agency will be taking on the business formerly known as Pitch, another Project Worldwide agency, effective immediately.
The Conran Shop has announced it will be opening a new store in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. This will the retailer's 12th location.
Performance marketing agency, Journey Further, has the launch of its Manchester office.
Optimus Performance Marketing has announced its plans to expand into US and CA markets.
Key Retirement Group has unveiled its new brand and positioning, becoming Key Group.
