This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

Hostelworld has appointed Asos’ marketing boss Yale Varty as its chief marketing officer.
Leo Burnett London
Leo Burnett London has appointed Carly Avener as managing director. Avener previously held the role of Managing Partner at BBH.
Diageo
Diageo's European marketing director for beers and ciders, Jeremy Kanter, has announced he will leave the company after 15 years.
Dentsu Aegis Network
Dentsu Aegis Network has announced its business strategy partner, Amy Watt has been appointed to the role of chief strategy officer.
Gyro
Gyro has appointed Jason Fletcher executive creative director for Gyro UK. He joins from McCann Worldgroup, where he was creative managing partner.
Publicis Poke
Publicis Poke has made a series of new hires, including the appointment of Alexandra Mimoun to the role of head of integrated planning.
Kazoo
Independent comms agency Kazoo has brought in ex-Ogilvy client director Karen Ward to bolster the ever-growing entertainment and content team at the agency. She is joined at Kazoo by account manager, Harry Toussaint and account executive Thanos Tsonakis, following recent wins across gaming and consumer technology brands.
The Trade Desk
The Trade Desk has appointed its former UK general manager James Patterson to the newly created role of vice president of client services EMEA, based in London.
Sweetshop
Sweetshop has restructured the management of its operations in London, with Justin Edmund-White, previously head of production and Morgan Whitlock, former head of sales and marketing being promoted to executive producers of Sweetshop UK and Europe.
Climb Online
Climb Online has promoted its founding employees to its senior leadership team, five years after the company was established in June 2014. Michael Bush has been promoted to commercial director, and Lyndsay Morgan has been promoted to operations director.

Cult has announced the appointment of Charlotte Bunyan as its first head of strategy.
Bidstack
Bidstack has announced two new hires to its UK operation. Nina Mackie and Charlotte Cook will be joining the London HQ as senior director of global agency partnerships and account director of games respectively.
Telaria
Telaria, the complete software platform that optimises yield for leading publishers, today announced that Jenny Antoniou is joining the company as publisher account director, ad operations.
Badi
Badi, the AI-driven room rental marketplace announces two of its latest senior hires. Ezequiel Cura joins the Badi team as vice president of engineering and Glenda Balekjian joins as vice president of product.

Spike, the Leeds-based digital marketing agency has grown its sales team with the addition of Nikki Foster.
Clicky
Digital marketing agency, Clicky, has appointed a new head of finance, Jane Lewis.

Visualsoft, has announced the appointment of Lindsey Roberts to digital operations manager.

Serviceplan Group Middle East recently announced the appointment of the award-winning advertising expert Akhilesh Bagri as executive creative director.

Uber has appointed Lucinda Barlow as the senior director of marketing, APAC.

ViSenze the artificial intelligence company powering visual commerce, today announced Cheryl Guzman Ng as its new global head of marketing.

TCP-TBWA\Indonesia has announced the appointment of highly awarded creative, Gavin Simpson, who will join the agency as chief creative officer with immediate effect.

Subway has named Carrie Walsh as chief marketing officer for North America, a role left vacant since Joe Tripodi confirmed his retirement in January.

The Mill has announced that Josh Mandel will be joining its Los Angeles studio in the role of managing director/president.

Wax has bolstered its roster by promoting longtime staff member Drew Balke to the role of editor.
The Many
The Many has announced the realignment and expansion of its strategy team with the promotion of Melissa Cabral to group strategy director to lead the growth of the department.
Bloomberg Media
Bloomberg Media announced Ariel Felix as its new executive director, programmatic sales. Ariel will collaborate closely with the ad operations team.

Tech company, Holler, has appointed Kyle Lagenbach as its new head of product.
Silicon Labs
Silicon Labs a leading provider of silicon, software and solutions has Megan Lueders has joined the company as chief marketing officer.

Reali, the real estate technology, has appointed Randa McMinn to join the Reali executive team as chief marketing officer.
