WPP has announced Keith Weed will sit on its board as a non-executive director, effective from 1 November. The post will see Weed, who now also works with the Advertising Association, channel his immense brand and marketing knowledge toward strengthening WPP’s position, cemented most recently by a nine-year spell as chief marketing and communications officer at Unilever.
TI Media has announced that Marie Claire UK editor-in-chief Trish Halpin and managing director Justine Southall are to both step down as the brand pursues its digital-first future.
Zoopla has made two significant new hires in its comms team including Tom Parker who joins from Amazon and will heading up the department, and Melissa Scarlett who joins from Edelman.
Pentland Brands has announced a new chief marketing officer role. The role will take responsibility for strategy, product, and marketing across the brand portfolio and, alongside other exec changes, is aimed at driving the international growth of its portfolio of sports, outdoor and active brands.

BMGPM has promoted senior management executives Scott Doran and Paul Gulmans following a successful two years that has seen company revenue double.
AML Group has appointed Duncan Walters as an experience partner. Walters will work across AML Group’s broad portfolio that includes AXA IM and the UK government.
Los Angeles-based production agency Summerjax has announced the addition of Todd Saunders, former global creative director of Roxy, as the vice president of the EMEA business.
KidsKnowBest has continued its expansion with the hire of Mahesh Ramachandra as its chief product officer.

The Asian Parent, South East Asia’s largest platform for parents with a reach of over 25 million users monthly, has hired Susana Tsui, former chief executive officer of Dentsu Aegis Network China, as the new chief executive officer of media.
BBDO Malaysia has appointed Ben Chew as managing director. Most recently Chew was managing director at Isobar Malaysia.
Australian independent media agency Atomic 212° today announced the appointment of Damien O’Brien as general manager of its fast-growing Darwin office, effective immediately.
LinkedIn chief marketing officer Shannon Brayton has announced that she will step down by the end of the year to spend more time with her family, opening the door for Melissa Selcher to step in as successor.
