Celebrity Cruises' new ship becomes dreamlike wonderland in psychedelic TV spot

Set against the psychedelic backdrop of Jefferson Airplane's 'White Rabbit' Celebrity Cruises has unveiled an ethereal TV spot called 'Wonder Awaits.'

It is the first campaign created by Lucky Generals, after it won the bid for Celebrity Cruises in the autumn of last year.

The TV spot was produced by Iconoclast, and follows a female protagonist on a voyage of discovery through a dream-like wonderland - onboard Celebrity Cruises's newest ship - 'Celebrity Edge.'

After dozing off on her sun lounger, she plunges gracefully down a psychedelic body of water, before landing in a dining room on 'Celebrity Edge.' She then embarks on a weird eden-istic journey, that sees her experience all the ships offerings.

Commenting on the TV spot, Peter Giorgi, chief marketing officer, Celebrity Cruises said: “’Wonder Awaits’ is about bringing the experience of cruising with Celebrity to life in a dramatic, beautiful way.”

“We wanted to show how unexpected moments, impeccable service and stunning design create a trip that is truly wonderful, and provides our guests with a break from reality, even just for an instant.”

Adding to this, James Fox, managing partner of Lucky Generals in New York added: “We want viewers to see Celebrity the way we see Celebrity: As a modern and progressive brand with an incredible and unique product. We hope to convey the same feelings of wonder and intrigue you get from being on a Celebrity cruise, in a fresh way."
