Halo has welcomed Paul Bailey as its newest recruit; he will join as strategy director to underlining the Design Week Top 100 Agency’s brand first principles and growth ambitions.

Bailey's experience and intuitive, insight-led approach has enabled him to shape brands and work with a diverse range of organisations and businesses, including Arsenal FC, Wimbledon, Paramount Pictures, EMI and Friends of The Earth.

Bailey has been an associate lecturer for The University of the West of England, Bristol and spoken at The London Design Festival, Glug, Goldsmiths and 100% Design. He's published several articles published in Design Week, The Guardian, Brand Strategy Insider and Creative Review.

Nick Ellis, Halo creative partner and co-founder, said: “We’ve admired Paul’s work for many years and we’re delighted he’s chosen to join us. The depth and clarity he brings to his work is incredible, and his ability to shape strategic work in the most compelling and creative way is inspiring.”

Of his new appointment, Bailey said: "Since our move from London to Bristol four years ago, I’d continued to work with or for London agencies. The longer I’m in this city, the more convinced I am that its creative, entrepreneurial, and independent spirit can see it compete with anywhere in the world. In Halo, I’m thrilled to be joining an agency with the same aspiration as myself - to continually discover, define and deliver on what makes a great brand agency, best prepared to meet the future challenges faced by our clients and our industry."
