The NFL season officially started on Thursday, but the real action begins Sunday, when 30 teams will go to battle to see who gets to wind up in the Super Bowl. Many brands look forward to getting on the field, in the game and being part of the action – and speaking to the very lucrative viewership.

The Drum has rounded up a few of the campaigns that are helping to get the NFL season underway as armchair quarterbacks, tailgaters, weekend viewers and others get ready for some football. Take note that rising star Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs is making the most of his sponsorship opportunities, appearing in no fewer than three separate campaigns, for brands as diverse as shampoo, video games and insurance.
