Jet2holidays releases another summer campaign

Strategic marketing agency, Home, has worked with production company Chief to launch a national brand campaign for Jet2holidays, to capture the hearts and minds of UK holidaymakers.

The campaign features three TV ads, showcasing the sort of fun holidaymakers can have with the package holiday maker.

Following the same format as the brand's 2016 ad campaign, the trio of spots are also set to Jess Glynne's hit song, Hold My Hand.

To highlight that Jet2holidays appeal to all sorts of travellers, the ads show a family, a young couple and an older couple making the most of the trip. From flights, accommodation, dining and other activities, Jet2holidays appeal to all.

Don McGrath, Chief creative officer at Home said: “By extending this campaign further, we wanted to show more magical moments that make people think either ‘that’s the sort of thing we’d do’ or ‘I’d love to do that’. From tearing your shirt off and jumping straight into the pool as soon as you arrive, to hiring an open-top car and driving along the coast at sunset. The key was to make people feel inspired.”

Colin Offland, CEO at Chief said: “The shoot took place in Portugal over 11 days with a team of more than 50 cast and crew, so it was a large-scale operation. This year we’ve combined the familiar immersive point-of-view shooting technique with fresh new holiday scenarios including a family boat trip through vast caves and a tranquil yoga scene for older couples, in order to showcase Jet2holidays’ diverse range of holiday styles.”

The ads air across ITV, Channel 4, Sky Media and Finecast from this weekand will be supported by strategic nationwide placements as well as content on a range of channels including social media, digital and OOH.
