Bonfire creates pop-art inspired range for The Eagle Brewery

The Eagle Brewery has unveiled new branding and packaging for its famous flavoured beer range, featuring Banana Bread Beer, Waggle Dance and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Designed by creative agency Bonfire Creative Intelligence, the new branding designs were inspired by the pop-art movement, to give the range a contemporary feel.

The product designs maintain the brand's heritage but have been updated with modern illustrated icons and a colour palette to reflect each flavour.

Luke Harris, Eagle brand manager for Marston’s said: “This exciting range of uniquely flavoured beers has been popular among adventurous drinkers for many years but we needed to update the look and feel of the branding to ensure they continue to attract attention in this fast-moving market. The new branding has also given us the opportunity to bring the range under The Eagle Brewery brand and reinforce our innovative approach to brewing.”

Stephen Judge, founder and strategic development director at Bonfire Creative Intelligence, said: “We’ve loved developing a more contemporary look for this unique range of flavoured beers from The Eagle Brewery. We wanted to create designs that represent the unique flavours in each beer so they would attract experimental drinkers, but also retain links to the previous branding so existing fans recognize the beers on shelves and in the pub.”
