Global wins

Mondelez has consolidated its global advertising into WPP and Publicis as it looks to "streamline" its marketing operations with the aim of improving digital ROI.

Publicis Groupe’s Starcom and Epsilon have taken charge of global media duties for pharmaceutical giant Novartis.

EMEA wins

Global has secured the Tyne And Wear Metro outdoor advertising contract, one of the largest outside of London, in effect adding 36 million potential viewers to the network.

Travelzoo has appointed TMW Unlimited to handle its UK CRM account.

Lloyds Pharmacy is planning a significant marketing investment into its new digital healthcare strategy having appointed McCann to lead the creative.

APAC wins

La Liga tapped short-form video content platform TikTok to promote the start of the new Spanish football season.

MediaCom South East Asia has been awarded PlayStation’s media account.

Americas wins

Pizza chain Papa John’s has parted ways Endeavor Global Marketing and named Havas-owned Camp + King as its agency of record, thereby consolidating the bulk of its media and creative with the French holding company.

Wunderman Thompson Atlanta and Spurrier Group are the new agencies of record for North Carolina Education Lottery.

Reviews

TSB has launched a review of its media business, which is currently managed by Dentsu Aegis’ Vizeum. Vizeum has been invited to repitch for the account.

Tommy Hilfiger is reviewing its media planning and buying account across Europe and North America.

Transport for London has decided to review its through-line account.

P&O Cruises is reviewing its creative account. Founded has held the account for five years.

Launches

Bauer Media has launched seven radio stations, including Kiss Dnce, Kiss Garage, Kiss Ibiza, Klassic Kerrang, Radio, Kerrang Radio Unleashed, Heat Radio School Disco and Heat Radio Soundtracks.

Disney has revealed plans for the international roll-out of its streaming service, Disney+, announcing that it will launch in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands in November.
