Coca-Cola marks the sweet return of the Premier League by welcoming new contenders

The soft drinks giant and league sponsor has paid tribute to the league newbies ahead of the launch of the new season this week. As part of the 'Where Everyone Plays' campaign, the TVC was directed by Stacey Wall.

It features fans of each of the newly promoted clubs and includes some very special guest appearances.

TV cook and Norwich City director, Delia Smith, appears as a fish pie. Sheffield United hero Brian Deane surprises excited fans in a local bar and Aston Villa's Jack Grealish turns up in a barbershop.

Kris Robbens, marketing director at Coca-Cola GB and Ireland, said: “Coca-Cola has always been a passionate supporter of football and we’re excited to celebrate three new clubs to the league ahead of the launch of what looks set to be another action-packed season. Football has this incredible power to bring people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures together, united by the love for their team and the game, and these fans are at the heart of our campaign.”

In a commitment to diversity, the spot shows 250 fans from across all 20 clubs and will run throughout the 2019/20 season. It premieres Monday 5 August on ITV at 19:45
