Global wins

Joan has been named as the global creative partner for shoe brand Keds.

EMEA wins

Publicis Media has won the EMEA media account of luxury goods and fashion conglomerate, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH), after a competitive review.

Engine has announced it will deliver the UK government's 'Prepare for Brexit' campaign informing businesses and the public what to expect ahead of departure from the European Union.

Lida has been appointed to a new global brand definition brief by London Bullion Market Association (LBMA)

APAC wins

Archetype has been appointed by Subway as the company’s agency-of-record for franchise development work in Asia.

Sling & Stone has won the account for Google Cloud.

Zenith has been appointed as the media account for the city of Melbourne. Zenith, which is owned by Publicis Media, will now handle media strategy, planning and buying account following a tender process involving a number of undisclosed agencies.

Sinokor F&B Management has appointed DeVries Global to spearhead consumer engagement communications in China.

Hausmann has been appointed by Australian Eggs as its consumer public relations account. Health Haus will meanwhile manage its healthcare professionals communications, following a four-way pitch process.

Frank has won the public relations account for Woolworths Limited-owned bottle shop brand BWS.

The Heart Foundation has appointed Luminary as its digital agency.

Americas wins

The Gate New York has won the account for the online used-car buying site, Carsation.

Laughlin Constable has been named the media agency of record for USG Corporation.

Drive-in restaurant chain Sonic has appointed independent agency Mother in Los Angeles as its new creative agency of record.

Reviews

Emirates has announced it is reviewing its global media account. Havas, which has handled the account since 2013, is expected to re-pitch.

McDonald's is reviewing its US agency model, and is assigning new work to Wieden+Kennedy New York.

Mergers and acquisitions

Rogers & Cowan and PMK-BNC, two of IPG's most prominent Hollywood PR agencies, are to be merged. The company has yet to be named, but will support more than 500 actors, musicians, producers and athletes.

Jellyfish has acquired Israeli digital agency Perelview.

Live entertainment and experience company Superfly is acquiring a majority stake in Listen, the global leader in sensory experiences. Listen augments Superfly’s skill set by adding a full suite of sensory capabilities including: immersive experiences, voice marketing, sound identity, podcasts and artist partnerships.

Launches

Sony Pictures Television has announced it is launching the UK’s first free-to-air movie network, titled Sony Movies Network, as it rebrands its existing entertainment networks in the UK to form a cohesive portfolio.

Teads has launched a new product charging brands only for viewable ad placements.

Uninterrupted, the athlete empowerment brand founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, is launching in Canada in partnership with multi award-winning artist and entrepreneur Drake.
