To mark the 20th anniversary of the cult teen hit American Pie and to promote Now TV's Sky cinema pass, 'Stifler's Mom' is being reinstated to hand out pies in London's Soho.

At the end of the '90s, Stifler's Mom' aka Jennifer Coolidge was the teenage boy's fantasy. The source of the famous term 'milf,' her character earned a cult status in the years following.

20 years on, Now TV is riding on the wave on the popularity of her character and giving film buffs, nostalgia seekers and 90s fanatics the chance to throw it back to 1999 with a pop-up pie shop experience.

As a nod to the famous scene that gave the film its name, every ‘warm apple pie’ served by Stiler's Mom comes ready-made with a cheeky hole in the middle.

On her involvement in the pop-up pie shop, Coolidge said: “It’s such an honour to have been invited here for such a celebratory moment for the film – 20 years on and I know Stifler’s Mom would have loved to have been a part of that classic film moment. Now I’m here, I get to give the fans exactly what they want - a piece of delicious apple pie at Now TV’s pop-up.”

A sucker for a stunt, last year Now TV tapped into one of the finest meme-able moments of Jurassic Park by erecting a 25ft statue of bare-chested Jeff Goldblum in London in front of the Tower Bridge.
