Digitas has appointed former Barton F. Graf chief executive Caroline Winterton as its New York managing director.

She will lead the 600-person strong New York team, which is the agency’s largest unit and includes clients such as American Express, Comcast, Blackrock and Macy’s.

At Barton F. Graf Winterton worked on the likes of Little Caesars, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Welch’s, Brinks Home Security and Supercell.

Before that she was a partner at Grey, executive group director at TBWA\Chiat\Day NYC, and ran Nike Jordan brand at Wieden + Kennedy. She succeeds Clint Simpson who was elevated to global chief media officer earlier this year, and reports to Jodi Robinson, president, Digitas NA.
