Aldi has appointed employee engagement specialists Synergy Creative as its employee engagement partner to support internal communications with its 36,000 colleagues across the UK and Ireland.

Building product manufacturer USG Corporation has completed its search for a new media agency of record with the appointment of Laughlin Constable to the role following a formal review.

Dreams has awarded its media planning and buying account to Havas Media.

The7stars has scooped FirstGroup's media planning and buying account.

Superunion has been appointed to conduct a brand review by Historic Royal Palaces in order to increase its reach and brand awareness to a wider audience.

Thunderhead has made a strategic partnership with the customer experience agency Proximity London.

Royal London has renewed its contract with media agency Spark Foundry UK.

APAC wins

Grey Indonesia has been appointed as the brand & social consultancy role for eSports organisation Boom.

Maybank Singapore has appointed MediaOne Business Group as its digital marketing agency to improve the SEO of its various business units.

Avian WE has been appointed by Honda Cars India.

Emotive has been appointed by the Australian Turf Club as its creative agency partner leading into racing’s Spring Carnival season.

FWD Takaful Berhad has appointed Entropia Noir as its media and social agency of record.

Americas wins

With grocery retailer Kroger’s adoption of DDB New York as its first agency of record, the supermarket chain is taking the initiative to expand its brand across channels.

Ebay has consolidated its media account with WPP, naming MediaCom as its global media agency of record.

Nautilus has named Fig as its creative agency for the company’s Bowflex brand. Fig will handle advertising and creative campaign executions, including TV, social and digital.

Reviews

KP Snacks is consolidating its media planning and buying across Europe. Dentsu Aegis Network’s Vizeum currently works on KP Snacks in the UK and in some European markets. Interpublic currently holds a large stake of its European media business.

The German cosmetics brand Beiersdorf has put its media planning and buying for UK, Ireland and the Nordics up for review. Wavemaker, who currently holds the account, will not repitch.

Re/Max has launched a review of its US media account.

Launches

Indonesia-based ride-hailing app Gojek has rebranded as it prepares to expand and diversify throughout Southeast Asia.

Salesforce and Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba have joined forces to distribute their products.

Luckin Coffee has announced plans to expand globally starting with India and the Middle East.

Interbrand has launched an integrated customer experience offering: Interbrand X, in partnership with C Space.

Brothers Gareth and Russell Oakley have launched GO! an intermediary consultancy business that works on behalf of brands and agencies across all industries and communication specialisms.
