Procter & Gamble’s marketing chief Marc Pritchard and Kristin Lemkau, chief marketing officer of JP Morgan Chase Co are two of this year’s Advertising People of the Year, according to the Advertising Club of New York.
The five marketers chosen for this year’s esteemed group also include Cheryl Overton, president of Egami Group, Kendra Clarke, vice-president of data science & product development at Sparks & Honey and Pranav Yadav, chief executive officer for Neuro-Insight US.
The five honorees will be awarded on the 60th anniversary of the event which recognizes individuals who aim to further industry standards, creative excellence and practice social concern.
“As the Ad Club looks to celebrate the diversity of people and organizations championing change within the advertising industry and beyond, this award recognizes the individuals that embody this mission. Their talents coupled with their creative output have helped to promote change around the world, and we are proud to be celebrating their accomplishments,” said Gina Grillo, president and chief executive of the Advertising Club of New York.
The event will take place on 5 September at the Tribeca Rooftop from 6pm with further details on the event available on the AdClub of NY website.
