Shutterstock has assembled a curated sequence of weird and wonderful imagery for its latest campaign, a bid to show the world that it can be every bit as kooky as Netflix hit Stranger Things using only assets from its library.

Timed to dovetail with the launch of a new season of the show on 4 July Shutterstock’s unique take draws attention to a nose bleed, x-ray doll and upturned turtle to prove that there is nothing ‘stock’ about its image library.

Shutterstock wrote: “Enjoy binge watching Stranger Things? Well, you’re in luck. We have millions of strange things like 80’s things, shady things, upside down things and even stranger things on Shutterstock, the world’s premier stock site.

“The only thing you can’t find here is justice for Barb.”

The video is the latest collateral to emerge as part of the ‘It’s Shutterstock’ campaign which previously saw it recreate Fyre Festival marketing using nothing but its own stock footage.

This video is the latest in the series of the ‘It’s Shutterstock’ campaign. This publicity push serves as Shutterstock’s first marketing campaign in six years.
