This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

Just Eat has promoted Matt Bushby to marketing director for Just Eat UK, replacing Ben Carter who has been appointed as managing director for sister business Menulog in Australia.
Menulog was acquired by Just Eat in 2015 and under Carter’s appointment will help to deliver continued excellence for customers, restaurants and couriers across the market. He replaces Alistair Venn who is departing after three years.
Ogilvy has appointed Sarah Blackman as head of strategic innovation to concentrate on data-driven creativity. Kate Wheaton joins from TMW Unlimited as head of customer engagement strategy.
TMW Unlimited has promoted its head of planning, Dan Bowers, to chief strategy officer. He will take over from Kate Wheaton who is leaving to join Ogilvy in September.
Omnicom Media Group
Dan Clays has been made Omnicom Media Group's UK chief exec. He will be responsible for his old agency OMD UK and sister businesses including Manning Gottlieb OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science.
Tim Pearson is replacing him, moving up from his role as chief exec of Manning Gottlieb OMD. He has worked at Manning Gottlieb for over 20 years.
Mindshare UK has appointed Kristiina Railo to the role of head of new business and marketing, and Lara Ponniah to the role of partner for Grow@Mindshare.
Netflix has tapped Dan Inamoto, the former managing director of BBC News in Japan, as its new marketing lead in the country.
VMLY&R India has appointed Ajay Ravindran as director, strategy and planning. Ravindran will head the brand planning function for VMLY&R in India.
Entropia CBR has appointed Jonathan Joson as partner for strategy and eCommerce, Kaye Enriquez as principal for data analytics, insights, and media performance and Karina Paguia as director for integration and business results.
Eight Inc. has appointed Chris Dobson as principal to drive its growth across China’s Greater Bay Area. Dobson will work closely with Eight Inc. founder, Tim Kobe, to develop new business relationships and partnerships.
Rice has appointed Nathalie Ramirez as its director of digital, based in the firm’s Singapore office. Ramirez will support clients on performance-driven communications strategies as well as lead digital transformation.
Cogs Singapore has named Lisa Campbell as director for Southeast Asia. This new hire is part of the continued investment in Cogs Asia’s leadership team. It’s off the back of promotions and appointments in Greater China of Damien Bell and Carrie Ho; managing director of Cogs Greater China and associate director of Hong Kong respectively.
Fon Mathuros Chantanayingyong has joined Edelman APAC as its chief media officer. She will drive the development of Edelman’s strategic media offering, focusing on senior counsel for media relations and training for chief execs.
World Surf League (WSL)
The World Surf League (WSL) has hired Nike marketing veteran Pri Shumate as its chief marketing officer, while the NFL UK’s head of marketing, Sarah Swanson, has been named senior vice-president of strategic insights and consumer growth.
Beats by Dre
Apple audio brand Beats by Dr Dre has appointed former Electronic Arts (EA) vice-president Chris Thorne as its global chief marketing officer, following a five-month search.
Trading card manufacturer Topps has appointed Stephen Chriss as vice-president global head of partnerships and integrated marketing, to leverage his marketing activation experience.
Restaurant chain Wendy's has promoted Carl Loredo to chief marketing officer.
Johnson & Johnson
Alison Lewis is out as the global chief marketing officer of Johnson & Johnson, which has made the role redundant in the implementation of a revamped business model.
Global independent agency Gut has appointed former David Miami exec, Paulo Fogaca, as chief operating officer and partner.
San Francisco-based creative agency, Eleven, has promoted Jarett Hausske and Michele Sileo, to president and managing director, respectively. Both are new roles for the agency.
The American Advertising Federation
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) has appointed marketing veteran Steve Pacheco as the organization’s president and chief exec.
Ipsos has appointed Joseph DeVeny to head of US Innovation. DeVeny will lead one of the largest Innovation practices in North America, overseeing a team of nearly 100 experienced experts across the US.
