Tangent invests in social video group Brave Bison

Digital experience agency Tangent has acquired a 19% stake in the AIM-listed social video group Brave Bison.

Tangent acquired the shares from Woodford Investment Management and will replace the fund manager as Brave Bison’s largest shareholder.

Tangent's managing partner, Oli Green said: “Brave Bison operates at the intersection of media, marketing and commerce. They have a world-class team and some of the most popular channels on social media. We are delighted to have invested in the business”.

As a fast-growing independent digital agency in the UK, Tangent has secured a portfolio of clients that includes PepsiCo, Carlsberg, SAP and Yoox Net-A-Porter Group.

Brave Bison has offices in London and Singapore, ranking seventh as the world's biggest media and entertainment publisher in 2018 and runs over 20 different social channels.
