Orascom appoints Rooster to raise awareness of new destination resorts

Orascom Hotels Management, one of the world’s fastest growing hotel operators, has appointed Rooster PR to handle all consumer and trade PR, and raise awareness in the UK of the brand and its hotel and destination resort portfolio.

The appointment comes after a successful and long-standing relationship with Orascom Development, which saw Rooster deliver on a five-year retained press office contract, focusing on its two existing resort towns of Taba Heights and El Gouna in Egypt.

Rooster has now been tasked with building awareness of the company’s hotel portfolio, consisting of 34 hotels, in five countries across three continents. In addition to highlighting their new resorts: Luštica Bay in Montenegro, Andermatt in Switzerland and Hawana Salalah in Oman.

Rooster will also boost awareness of the company’s existing resort towns, Taba Heights in Egypt, Sinai and Jebel Sifah in Oman, and their most successful resort, El Gouna in Egypt.

Through a press office-led programme, Rooster will invite UK journalists to experience the resorts and their offering first hand. In addition, Rooster will communicate Orascom Hotel’s brand story and mission through a thought-leadership programme, media briefing events, and the company’s return, after a five-year hiatus, to World Travel Market in November 2019.

Orascom's portfolio expansion plans include seven hotels in Montenegro, eight in Morocco, eight in Oman, three in Switzerland and three in Egypt.
