The Drum Arms will be your one-stop shop for when you need a break from the hustle and bustle of Cannes Lions, at the Morrison’s Pub, 10 Rue Teisseire, 06400 Cannes from 17 June to 20 June.

The infamous pop-up pub, which you may have seen at London, Austin and New York, is back at Cannes Lions the third year in a row. This is where we curate thought-provoking conversations, and of course, will present you with the industry's thought-leaders and sometimes controversial figures to illuminate complex topics.

The Drum Arms is just minutes away from the Palais des Festivals, the heart of the creative festival. It’s wowed audiences around the world with the likes of sessions with Sir Martin Sorrell and Unilever’s superstar marketer Aline Santos and we are ready to brew up some magic again in Cannes. There will be some surprises in store!

We're also setting up shop in various locations including the Dentsu Aegis Network Beach House and for a second year, Boat FCB.

Our regular, I Was There, panel brings together Piyush Pandey, chief creative officer, Ogilvy worldwide; Karin Onsager-Birch, chief creative officer, FCB West and Rei Inamoto, former worldwide chief creative officer, AKQA to reveal stories you have never heard before about what goes into the making of an iconic ad campaign.

The World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) Media Charter Panel, with board members Jerry Daykin, EMEA media lead of GSK and Gerry D'Angelo, global media director at P&G will discuss why there is a need for it and how it will affect the future of media buying for clients.

Reuters will join us at the pub, mapping the new B2B human journey, alongside Kate Howe, chief growth officer for Dentsu Aegis Network UK; and Bill Kanarick, EY global customer leader.

As will Chris Hirst, global chief executive officer of Havas Creative Network as we talk straight about the state of our industry, calling bullshit on all the industry bullshit.

We’ll also be looking at the rise of city state, globalisation and urbanisation with Vizeum’s global president, Thomas Le Thierry at the Dentsu Aegis Beach House.

For all those interested in informal panel discussions, quizzes, debates - as well as good old-fashioned drinking sessions for some quality networking, this is the place for you.

The Drum Arms 2018 saw industry leaders like Sir Martin Sorrell, Aline Santos, Melissa Waggener Zorkin and Mel Edwardsstep atke to the limelight of The Quay Irish Pub, Boat FCB and the Radisson Blu.
