Collins will succeed and report to Marianne Gambelli, who was named president of ad sales for Fox Corporation in October.

"Jeff’s proven track record in identifying new revenue streams and implementing strategic partnerships will add depth and innovation to our sales team," said Gambelli. "We look forward to welcoming him to Fox News as we further expand our business beyond traditional platforms."

Fox News has been working to win back advertisers concerned over the newtork's style of reporting. It recently unveiled its ‘America is Watching’ slogan to woo perspective buyers.

Collins will oversee the Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox News Digital, Fox News Radio, Fox News podcasts and subscription streaming service Fox Nation.

“I am beyond thrilled to join Fox News," said Collins. "It’s the opportunity of a lifetime to work on such a dynamic and powerful brand and I look forward to pairing my expertise across linear and digital platforms with the network’s incredibly loyal audience.”

Fox News now exists within a streamlined Fox Corporation, the byproduct of Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox.

Gambelli and other Fox excutives focused on the trimmed-down network's start-up feel during its upfront presentation last week, pitching advertisers a slate of new ad formats.

Fox Sports has also been growing out its ad sales team, naming Seth Winter head of ad sales for the division in January.
