This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below. This week includes moves from Copa90, Groupon, Bumble, Universal Music Group, Possible, and more.

Goodstuff

Independent media agency Goodstuff has bolstered its board with the appointment of Genevieve Tompkins as managing director.

Dragon Rouge London

James Batters has joined Dragon Rouge London in the role of business director. Batters assumes responsibility for partnering with clients to help them through significant brand strategy and identity programs.

Ebiquity

Independent media and marketing consultancy, Ebiquity, has promoted Nick Pugh to managing director, UK & Ireland. Additionally, Laetitia Zinetti is now managing director for Continental Europe replacing outgoing Mauricio Barange, who will retire.

Omnicom

Omnicom Media UK’s chief executive Philippa Brown has taken on the same role in a global capacity at sister agency PHD Worldwide. Brown has succeeded Mike Cooper, who was recently named group chief executive at Omnicom Media Group APAC and EMEA.

Clear Channel

Clear Channel International has restructured to create a new European unit to be led by Justin Cochrane, formerly the business's UK and Ireland chief.

Groupon

Groupon has appointed Craig Rowley as global chief marketing officer, replacing Vinayak Hegde who jumped ship to Airbnb last year.

The Big Partnership

UK marcomms agency The Big Partnership has secured Steve McLaughlin, former chief commercial officer at Telegraph Media Group, as its first chief executive.

TBWA\London

TBWA\London has bolstered its creative team, hiring Richard Prentice and David Adamson as international creative directors. Both were previously at Bartle Bogle Hegarty.

Copa90

Copa90 has hired Scott Fenton as its vice-president of marketing. He was previously head of marketing for the UK and Ireland at sports TV and streaming company Eleven Sport.

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts

John-Paul Murphy has taken up the role of head of marketing at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts. He was previously director of Bothlin Burn Consulting for over six years.

Bank of Ireland

Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking UK has appointed Ethan Handyside as head of its technology, media and telecoms business, working from the Bank’s UK head office in London.

APAC people on the move

TBWA

TBWA has announced a new Asia president, promoting current South Africa Group chief executive Sean Donovan. Donovan replaces Ian Pearman who recently left the group, and the advertising industry, after two years in the Asia president role.

TBWA\ Shanghai has promoted Muriel Lechaczynski to managing director, from her role as managing partner.

Carousell

Carousell has hired former PropertyGuru and TripAdvisor commercial lead Lewis Ng to drive its commercial strategy. Ng’s focus will be leading its transformation to a ‘premium publisher’, a strategy that also saw it hire former Singapore Press Holding’s Su Lin Tan earlier this year.

Bloomberg

Bloomberg has added a regional leader to its global diversity and inclusion team. Alisha Fernando will join the company as its new head of diversity and inclusion, APAC.

Wavemaker

Jeff Yan has been appointed Wavemaker China's chief client officer. He will be responsible for its client leadership practice.

Universal Music Group

Universal Music Group has appointed Calvin Wong to the newly-created position of chief executive, Southeast Asia and senior vice president, Asia.

BBH China

BBH China has appointed Siyuan Aw as head of strategy. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading strategy on existing and new clients as well as developing new products.

Publicis Groupe

Publicis Groupe has hired Ken Lingan as chief executive of Publicis Groupe Philippines. He will report directly to the chairman, Raymond Arrastia.

iHeartMedia

Rahul Sabnis has been named chief creative officer and executive vice president at TheStudio - iHeartMedia's newly-branded in-house creative group. He will report to Darren Davis, president of iHeartRadio and iHeartMedia Networks Group.

Bumble

Bumble has hired Mcgarrybowen’s Drew Jaz as its first global creative director, handing him a remit to grow the brand’s internal creative team into a functioning in-house agency.

OpenAP

TV advertising consortium OpenAP has named TrueX co-founder Dan Levy as the company's first chief executive officer. Levy joins as the audience targeting group that looks to steady itself amid shakeups and product launches.

Openpath

Silicon Beach startup Openpath has appointed Kieran Hannon as its chief marketing officer. Hannon, an award-winning marketer and a member of The Drum’s US Editorial Advisory Board, joins Openpath from Belkin International, where he served as chief marketing officer.

Possible

Aileen Calderon has been appointed group creative director at Possible New York. Calderon will help lead the creative duties for the Volkswagen account.

Wirecutter

Wirecutter has hired Roxanne Emadi, previously head of audience development at BuzzFeed News, as its new director of editorial strategy and audience development.

Curiosity

Cincinnati-based Curiosity has hired Ashley Walters as chief development officer. She will be responsible for agency growth and marketing, as well as new capabilities and service offerings.
