Fashion retailer Matalan has called on the services of McCann Manchester to lead its strategic and creative brief following a competitive pitch.

The agency will now assume for all marketing for the high street brand with immediate effect, steering the future direction of a brand which was first established in 1985.

Karen Buchanan, McCann Manchester CEO, commented: “Matalan is a fantastic brand and a strong success story in a competitive retail landscape. We are delighted to be appointed as Matalan’s strategic and creative partner and are looking forward to helping Matalan write the next chapter of its development and growth.“

McCann Manchester has developed a growing reputation for retail having already won over clients including Aldi, Magnet and Smyths Toys.
