Deloitte Digital has expanded its digital marketing expertise with the acquisition of Pervorm for an undisclosed fee.
The online marketing agency was founded in 2010 and now boasts offices in Amsterdam (HQ) and Ho Chi Minh City. It specialises in digital marketing, in-house consultancy and analytics. In particular, it will power up the group’s search, social and programmatic advertising.
Jeroen van den Nieuwenhof, a partner Deloitte Digital, said: “With the specialized experience of Pervorm we can better support our customers with the development and implementation of their digital marketing strategy.
“By integrating Pervorm into our consulting practice, we further substantiate Deloitte Digital's growth strategy and our customers' demand for an integrated approach to online from strategy to execution.”
It marks a major move from Deloitte into digital media buying and digital marketing management.
Adrian Mills, partner, creative, brand and media at Deloitte Digital told The Drum last year at Spikes Asia 2018 that the consultancies are not coming into to displace network agencies - but warned there will be a rebalancing of power.
“The consulting model is very much, sell what you're good at, and then utilise other expertise. I think agencies often pretend that they are deeper in skill than they might actually genuinely be and that is to everybody's detriment."
