WPP to create bespoke agency for Vodafone Ziggo

WPP Go One, a newly established multi-disciplinary team, will work together with VodafoneZiggo and act as the core leadership team for the company’s operations in the Netherlands.

The strategic creative partnership will be jointly based on-site with the client and at Amsteldok, WPP’s newly opened Dutch campus which draws together 15 agencies within a single building to facilitate more integrated solutions.

Marcel de Groot, chief creative officer of consumer at VodafoneZiggo, said: "With the rise of new players in the agency world, we have seen the rise of more integrated, client-specific models. We saw an opportunity to, across the traditional borders of agencies, develop a team to develop the best results together to make our new partner part of the very beginning of our decisions in the market.”

The Drum understands that Accenture was among those pitching for the business, along with Omnicom and Publicis One.
