VMLY&R promotes Rosie McGuire to executive creative director

VMLY&R has promoted Rosie McGuire to executive creative director. As the Cincinnati creative lead, McGuire has played a key role in the agency, supporting creative in three offices, including those in Detroit and Kalamazoo.

Currently, she partners with creative leads on Ford and runs Cincinnati-based creative accounts, inducing Kroger and Blink. In her new position, McGuire will be adding Mars and Unilever e-commerce accounts to her remit.

McGuire joined VMLY&R when Rockfish Digital merged with the agency in September 2017. Prior to joining Rockfish Digital in 2014, she held creative leadership roles at Possible and Powerhouse Factories.

We are fortunate to have such a deep bench and we are thrilled that Rosie will be stepping up into an executive leadership role.”

McGuire’s work has been recognized by numerous international and local advertising award panels, including Cannes Lions, The Webby Awards, One Show, and Clios.

In a career spanning 15 years, McGuire has spent time working across a number of global brands, such as Charmin, Pringles, Bounty, Lincoln, and Kroger.

McGuire will report to Xenopoulos, and will continue to be based in VMLY&R’s Cincinnati office.
