The Drum Recommends: Commended is highlighting Mechanised who helped design, build and launch an ecommerce website for Beautiful bambino.

In this series, we explore the finest work created by The Drum Recommended agencies. We will highlight top case studies to guide and inspire you in your journey to select a new agency relationship.

Last year the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) was rebranded as The Drum Recommends to bring it in line with owner The Drum. It remains committed to partnering brands with the correct agency using data and unique industry expertise.

Beautiful Bambino started life on the local market, selling everything from bespoke nursery furniture to clever baby essentials. Wanting to grow their customer base and sell more products on a national scale, Beautiful Bambino needed an eCommerce solution to start selling online.

In need of an eCommerce website and digital marketing strategy, Beautiful Bambino approached Mechanised based on a current client recommendation. We started the project with a new brand identity followed by in-depth discussions regarding the functionality and look of the website.

The Brief

- Create a new mobile-friendly eCommerce site

- Easy to use admin system

- Rank in Google for local and national keywords

The Solution

The Beautiful Bambino website is a mobile-friendly eCommerce website built on the Woocommerce platform, making it easy to use and at the right price point for the client. Developed with technical SEO from the outset, it made their on-going SEO campaign more effective.

The website ranks very well in Google resulting in a 748% increase in organic traffic and a 2678% increase in online sales over the first 12 months.

Before the website was completed we gave the Beautiful Bambino owners training on the backend of the website, allowing them to confidently upload new products, manage stock levels and process orders.
