KPMG appoints Jarther Taylor to lead Australian marketing department

KPMG Australia has appointed Jarther Taylor, the former CEO at customer experience agency Datarati, as marketing director.

Taylor, who has worked as a consultant to KPMG since December 2019, has more than 20 years experience working for brands such as Telstra, IBM and HP, agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and as an Adjunct Professor at UNSW.

He will be tasked with leading KPMG’s marketing function and helping to integrate brand, marketing and customer experience into the management consultancy’s offering. He will also serve as a member of the company’s brand and engagement leadership team.

Taylor is the latest in a string of heavyweight marketing and agency professionals to join a management consultancy to help bolster the marketing services capabilities. KPMG rivals Accenture, Deloitte and PWC have been heavily recruiting, and acquiring, talent in Australia in the last 12 months.
