Google has forged a partnership with the Columbia School of Journalism for newsroom leadership program for journalists in Asia.

DPR&Co has won the Honda Marine social account.

PHD has landed the Virgin Australia media account.

Cricket Australia's Big Bash Leagues has awarded Kojo with its creative content account.

Bus-booking platform, RedBus has selected MC Saatchi as its integrated communications agency in Indonesia.

WPP agency Essence has launched an innovation, research and development hub in Singapore following investment from the Economic Development Board.

Two years after WPP acquired it, Zubi Advertising has rebranded and exited from the dedicated Ford network GTB.

Mergers

An ambitious hookup between two of Britain’s largest supermarket chains; Sainsbury’s and Asda, lies in tatters after the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) came out against the merger on the grounds that it would increase costs for consumers.
