Last year the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) was rebranded as The Drum Recommends to bring it in line with owner The Drum. It remains committed to partnering brands with the correct agency using data and unique industry expertise.

The challenge:

Innovation Group provides comprehensive operational support, a range of expert services and industry leading technology to the world's biggest insurers. They employ over 3,000 people and operate in Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, India, North America, Poland, South Africa, Spain and the UK serving over 1,200 clients.

The business had grown through the acquisition of many disparate, unintegrated, niche businesses whilst a new leadership team was introduced to drive the business forward.

We were asked to rationalise their core proposition and develop a cohesive brand identity that would position them as a global leader across multiple service offerings.

Our approach:

We worked closely with the global leadership team and regional managers to develop a more relevant proposition, vision and values. Then we created a dynamic brand identity around the idea of "going beyond" for their clients – putting a compelling twist on the conventional world of insurance whilst highlighting their true potential. The new brand captures this sentiment though bespoke, unconventional imagery and a playful, direct approach to typography and messaging. Over an 18 month period we managed the implementation of the brand across multiple regional operations and created a comprehensive set of global brand guidelines.

Today, Innovation Group can hold the kind of global conversations they want to have with the world’s leading insurers. And regional operations can highlight their distinct and diverse commercial offerings whilst benefiting from the unified global brand.
