Job sharing platform Pairents targets flexible working demands

Hidden, the talent and culture consultancy, has launched its latest recruitment product – www.pairents.io - a job sharing platform for creative professionals looking for a more flexible way of working.

The launch is the latest initiative from the founders of Hidden to drive social and cultural change through enlightened recruitment practices. With current working environment, processes and hiring practices acting as an obstacle course for parents and returners, the new site targets the “returner” candidate pool. This group contains extremely talented people who often end up leaving the industry due to a lack of flexibility around working hours and days.

Pairents.io works by pairing up people returning to work, providing them the opportunity and flexibility to get back into the creative industry on their own terms. It also provides a support community and network to ease the process through coaching, advice, thought leadership and flexible childcare services.

Ross Taylor of Hidden said: “We have seen first-hand the difficulties many work returners are having. At the same time, businesses are screaming out for exceptional talent. Just because you need flexibility, it doesn’t make you unexceptional.

“There is a universal need to change workplace behaviour patterns so that employees can enjoy a supported work/ life harmony and employers can uphold their principles around flexible working. Our mission is to give hidden talent pools a voice and a platform for success. Pairents tackles these issues head on and provides a much needed solution for the industry to make a better working world.

Richard Bloom continued: “Our team of candidate success managers create a work plan with returners. We match work plans and people at our chemistry sessions allowing connections with confidence. We work with forward thinking clients to manage the application process and onboarding, easing the transition into shared work.”
