The Drum Recommends: Commended is highlighting Brazil Street who helped Stiltz raise their brand and create public awareness.

In this series, we explore the finest work created by The Drum Recommended agencies. We will highlight top case studies to guide and inspire you in your journey to select a new agency relationship.

Last year the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) was rebranded as The Drum Recommends to bring it in line with owner The Drum. It remains committed to partnering brands with the correct agency using data and unique industry expertise.

Why have a stairlift when you can have a real lift? An affordable alternative to a stairlift, Stiltz specialise in luxury, through-the-floor domestic home lifts which allow people to stay in the home they love.

As a relatively low-awareness product, Stiltz were the first to take the homelift to the world of TV advertising and took the plunge with a 60 second advert, to inform, educate and persuade their audience.

The Challenge

In a drive to raise brand and product awareness, we, along with the help of Guerillascope, planned a high-impact direct response TV campaign, selecting the most appropiate channels for an older, yet affluent audience. We allocated a unique trackable phone number to this 60 second advert which was shown on screen throughout, enabling us to track results.

Throughout this campaign, we tracked peaks in website traffic and enquiries to attribute online response to individual spots. This was useful when analysing the best performing channels, programmes, days of the week, and daypart in terms of cost per response in-campaign.

We could then optimise these results and refine the spot schedule in-campaign to improve the cost per response and target more specific consumers nationwide.

The Results

Stiltz’ 2018 TV campaign exceeded expectations in terms of cost per response, and out-performed other offline channels by a landslide!

Now with an increased budget, new channels and the introduction on a 40 second advert, Stiltz are amid their second TV campaign.
