Coca-Cola brings Aquarius mineral water brand to UK

Coca-Cola is adding to its UK drinks line up from today (10 April) with the arrival of its low-calorie water brand in both lemon and lime iterations for the summer market.

Aimed at being a healthy alternative to Coca-Cola’s high sugar range of brands, the drinks are infused with minerals said to help the body and mind; with the lemon variant topped up with Zinc to feed the brain and the lime flavour opting for Magnesium, said to reduce fatigue.

Jon Woods, general manager, Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland, said: “We are continually looking for ways to expand our portfolio and give people a wider choice of drinks to suit different tastes, lifestyles and occasions. Aquarius provides a new great-tasting option for everyday moments when you are looking for a revitalising way to hydrate, with added minerals, and will play an important role in our ambition to continue to offer consumers more choice.”

Aquarius is available in selected stores nationwide and will be supported by a fully integrated marketing campaign from May. Carrying the message ‘Put back what life takes out’ the promotional activity will include a mix of digital out of home and banner advertising as well as in-store activations.

All packaging will be 100% recyclable as part of Coca-Cola’s commitment to reduce plastic waste.
