This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below. This week features moves from Channel 4, MoneySupermarket, Condé Nast, VMLY&R and McCann.

EMEA people are on the move

Channel 4

Channel 4 has appointed BBC director of education Sinead Rocks to lead its foray into the UK regions after it created a National HQ in Leeds and creative hubs in Glasgow and Bristol.

MoneySupermarket

MoneySupermarket has expanded the role of board member Andy Hancock to take on the vacant chief customer officer position. He replaces outgoing chief customer officer Darren Bentley.

Leagas Delaney

The former head of strategy at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Dan Hauck, has been appointed Leagas Delaney's first group chief strategy officer.

VMLY&R

VMLY&R has appointed the chairman of Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, Justin Pahl, as chief executive. This is the first time the agency has had a permanent chief executive since VML and Y&R merged last September.

VMLY&R's executive creative director, Harsh Kapadia, is leaving to return to the agency's New York office, for family health and well-being reasons.

Bauer Media

Bauer Media has bolstered its global team. Its UK chief executive, Paul Keenan, has secured the president of audio role, while its managing director, Rob Munro-Hall, has been named co-head of the global publishing business and chief executive of the UK publishing business.

VCCP

VCCP has bolstered its planning team with two new senior hires. Ross Cameron joins the agency as global planning director and Richard Bradford has been appointed head of planning for VCCP’s founding client O2.

Advertising Standards Authority

Kirsten Miller has been appointed to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) council. Miller was most recently a precision lead consultant for Wavemaker after she left her role as managing partner at Maxus. With the ASA, she will act as an industry member of the council, judging ads across non-broadcast media only.

The Brooklyn Brothers

The Brooklyn Brothers has appointed Tracey Barber as its global head of brand. Barber joins the management team responsible for driving the agency’s reputation and new business.

Lewis

Lewis has appointed Leila Mountford as creative director in the UK. Mountford will bolster the UK creative team and support its delivery of creative storytelling across all channels.

APAC people on the move

Interpublic Group

Interpublic Group (IPG) has hired Lani Jamieson as head of Cadreon Singapore. She is the former head of digital media at DWA, Dentsu Aegis Network and programmatic director Omnicom Media Group.

Oliver

In-house specialist agency, Oliver, has appointed the former head of TBWA UK, Richard Stainer as its chief executive, global clients.

He will report directly to Simon Martin, founder and chief executive of Oliver and its parent company, Inside Ideas Group, which sold a majority stake to You & Mr Jones in January.

MediaCom

Mediacom's managing director, Kate Rowlinson, and its global chief financial officer, Christine Fang, have been promoted to its global executive committee.

Grab

Yee Wee Tang has been promoted to country head of Grab Singapore. He will oversee the business strategy and operations of Grab’s businesses in Singapore.

Hasbro

Hasbro, Inc. has hired Jamie Gutfreund as chief consumer experience officer. Gutfreund joins Hasbro from Wunderman Thompson, a WPP Company, where she served as global chief marketing officer and helped to establish the firm’s reputation as a dynamic global digital organization.

McCann

McCann has added two senior creatives to the New York team and has promoted two current creative directors to senior leadership positions, expanding the agency’s creative talent pool.

Executive creative directors Dan Donovan and Wayne Best have been promoted to deputy chief creative officers. Andrea Gustafson has joined as design director and Gabrielle Shirdan has joined as creative director.

Condé Nast

Condé Nast has appointed Roger Lynch as its first global chief executive. He is the former chief executive of Pandora, and he will help lead Condé Nast during its new phase of global integration, growth and transformation.

Argonaut

Argonaut has promoted JT Pierce to managing director. He has been tasked with overseeing the agency's development of people and process, managing a cross-section of clients and internal departments.

JW Player

JW Player has hired Welby Chen as its first chief business officer. He joins the company from Fyber, where he was president and chief business officer.

Telegraph Creative

The former senior presidential aide Cliff Sims has joined Telegraph Creative as partner and president.

New Engen

Ryan Turner has joined New Engen as vice president of marketing. In his new role, Turner will oversee all marketing and communications programs, including brand and partnership strategies, positioning and messaging.
