Moneysupermarket's Andy Hancock tales chief customer officer role

Moneysupermarket has expanded the role of board member Andy Hancock to take on the vacant chief customer officer position. He replaces outgoing chief customer officer Darren Bentley.

Hancock, who joined the company in 2014, adds on the marketing and customer services role to his current brief digitising mortgages through group joint venture Podium and also being the managing director of MoneySavingExpert Publishing.

Hancock said: "This is an incredibly exciting time to become chief customer officer, as we enter the second year of our 'Reinvent' strategy and start to deliver on our brand promise to make our services more proactive, personalized and painless for our customers.

“MoneySuperMarket’s recent brand relaunch has given us a fresh platform to engage customers with new services, such as credit monitoring and bill management, alongside traditional switching and saving. I’m really looking forward to working with our talented team in London, Manchester and Ewloe to deliver the next wave of innovation in price comparison.”

The hire comes after the company recently snapped up Lloyd Page as marketing director. Page will now report into Hancock, having been at the firm since September and contributing to the brand relaunch. Page has held marketing roles at Virgin Media, John Lewis, and Vodafone.

The price comparison has made the hires on a high after rolling out its "smooth" UK marketing campaign, "Moneysupermaaahhhket" which looks to underline the frictionless ease it proposes to offer consumers.
