This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below, including Havas Media Group, Droga5 London, Asics, Twitter and VMLY&R.

EMEA people are on the move

BetVictor

BetVictor has appointed Matt Parkes as director of brand and creative, a role that will look to improve the standing of the online gambling firm. He has been tasked with providing strategic direction to further build on the’ brand successes across all channels, including its sponsorship of Liverpool FC.

Telegraph Media

The former Exterion Media managing director and Telegraph veteran, Dave King, has joined the data tech consultancy Blis. King will be global commercial officer and is tasked with helping the location data tech provider grow and develop a commercial strategy as it aims to scale up.

MediaCom

Tom Curtis has been made executive creative director at MediaCom. He was previously head of MediaCom Beyond Advertising.

Droga5 London

Droga5 London has hired Grace Francis as its first chief experience officer. She was previously head of experience design and planning at Grey London and a founding partner of Grey Consultancy.

AVC Immedia

Richard Baron and Angus Turner have joined AVC Immedia as creative director and creative business development manager respectively growing and strengthening the company’s creative media division.

Edelman

Edelman has hired Miranda Mitchell as its managing director for brand practice. Mitchell will take over the role from Lucy Melling.

Asics

Asics has hired Gary Raucher as executive vice president, category. He will lead marketing, merchandising and product across the region.

Blue State Digital

Hannah Johnson has been appointed managing director at Blue State Digital. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing a growing team as well as campaign and market direction for the agency’s clients.

Encore Digital Media

Encore Digital Media has appointed Stephen Noble as client director. Noble joins from WPP’s GroupM, where he was director of its programmatic display team.

ID Comms

ID Comms has boosted its leadership team, with three hires designed to expand its global offering to advertisers. Suzie Rafla joins as head of digital, John Pain joins as senior consultant and Nick Barron has become a full-time senior consultant.

Diva Creative

Diva Creative has appointed Alex Avis as business development executive. He joins the firm after working in sponsorship sales at an events and media company in London.

APAC people on the move

Madwell

Madwell has hired Alice Too as the agency’s managing director in its recently opened Hong Kong office. She will continue to build the office and grow client business.

VMLY&R Brisbane

VMLY&R Brisbane has expanded its creative and content production capabilities with senior appointments. Guilherme Pecego has been appointed to the newly created role of associate creative director, while Mignon van Weeren has been named director of broadcast and content.

Kargo

Kargo has appointed Maria Bajalica sales manager for the NZ market. Bajalica’s goal is to deliver business revenue from new and existing clients.

Zeno Group

Allanjit Singh has been named managing director at Zeno Group where he will oversee the agency’s Singapore office, drive growth, and scale the agency’s local and regional presence.

MRM//McCann

MRM//McCann has appointed a new general manager in Taiwan, Peggy Hsieh. She moves from Inspire Advertising, where she held the position of executive creative director.

Dentsu Aegis Network

Dentsu Aegis Network South Asia has promoted its current chairman and chief executive, Ashish Bhasin to the expanded role of chief executive Dentsu Aegis Network Greater South and chairman and chief executive of India.

Alongside Bhasin, Silvia Leiva has been appointed to the new role of APAC regional insights and business growth director for B2B International.

MullenLoew S'ng & Partners Malaysia

MullenLowe S’ng & Partners Malaysia has appointed Sathi Anand as executive creative director, and Gavin Teoh as client services director to lead the newly independent agency’s creative offerings for brands in Malaysia.

Bloomberg Television

Bloomberg television has appointed Rachel Wehrspann as head of TV, US, and Emily Yamamoto as head of TV, Asia-Pacific.

McCann Worldwide Asia Pacific

McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific has appointed Chris Galea as regional business director on Mastercard. The network is Mastercard’s global and regional lead creative agency.

Pomelo

Pomelo has appointed Jim Boland as chief financial officer. He has been tasked with building Pomelo's financial infrastructure to drive profitability while enabling rapid growth across the region.

Twitter

Twitter has upped its creative capabilities with the return of Donna Lamar who spent a year at Vice Media. Lamar will start her new role at Twitter on 22 April working from the San Francisco headquarters. She replaces Jayanta Jenkins who recently joined HP.

BSSP

BSSP has announced that chief creative office, Matthew Curry, has been made partner at the agency. Curry joined the agency in September of last year to join forces with newly appointed chief executive officer, David Eastman, as part of a leadership succession plan.

Isobar Sao Paulo

Ana Leão joins Isobar Sao Paulo as the agency's new managing director. She has been in the Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) for four years, where she worked as head of HUB operations for GM, integrated within Isobar and NBS agencies.

Fallon Worldwide

Fallon Worldwide has promoted Rocky Novak to the role of chief executive as incumbent Mike Buchner steps up to become chairman. Novak will head up both the Minneapolis headquarters and Fallon's New York office, which opened just over two years ago.

Spark Foundry US

Chris Boothe has been promoted to chief executive of the Spark Foundry US after Publicis Media merged Blue 440 and Spark Foundry under the same brand.

Havas Media Group

Havas Media Group has made two new additions to its global team. Thomas Minc joins the media team as managing director, global strategy, and Ellen Zaleski as managing director, global insights.

Wunderman Thompson

The WPP agency Wunderman Thompson has appointed Maree Prendergast as global chief talent officer. Maree will report to global chief executive Mel Edwards and be based in New York.

LiveIntent

As part of the launch of its onboarding service, LiveIntent has hired Brian Silver as its president, identity. He joins from Yahoo where he was responsible for global revenue operations.

Team One

Team One, Publicis Groupe's Los Angeles-based media, digital and communications agency for premium brands, has hired advertising veteran Kirsten Rutherford as executive creative director on Expedia.
