To celebrate International Women’s Day, ten female-run small businesses have been invited in to Rapp UK for its ‘PowerHouse’ series of workshops covering disciplines such as social media, SEO, brand tone of voice, digital presence and UX.

The PowerHouse initiative has been designed not as a one-off but to be an event repeatable throughout the year. The aim of the workshops, run by RAPP UK experts, is to educate, inspire and support.

Participating businesses in the inaugural PowerHouse range from home-styling and wedding photography to professional coaching, coffee production and architecture.

Chris Freeland, chief executive at Rapp UK said: “Rapp UK is getting behind female entrepreneurs by offering the learning and support of its experts to help sharpen skills needed to energise and grow their businesses. We are committed to making a real difference to women in business, not just on International Women’s Day but well into the future. This is why we’ve created PowerHouse – an event which is easily replicated throughout the year and designed for lasting impact on the businesses we work with.

“There are many talented women who are experts in what they do, but who might be struggling to maximise their business’s potential, or failing to use digital marketing tools to their advantage. We can hopefully make a tangible difference and the future success of their ventures.”

PowerHouse will be held at Rapp UK's offices in Bankside.
